Leadership & performance coach, business mentor, and non-exec director (NED)
Coaching and mentoring involves a very personal relationship, so I invite you to know a little more about me to discover if I’m the right fit for you.
I was born near Manchester and spent my formative years in the North West of England before embarking on my international career.
My wife and I have three adult children scattered around the globe, and one boxer dog they insist is the real favourite.
I am based in Mallorca, Spain, which provides excellent access to the UK and the rest of Europe and allows for a harmonious lifestyle balancing work, sport and peace.
I am committed to helping others through my coaching and making the world a better place for future generations.
My mission is to bring all my expertise, experience, empathy and insight in support of my clients towards their personal and professional endeavours.
My goal is to work with clients who have the desire, motivation and humility necessary to develop themselves to achieve their full potential.
I am not motivated by the financial rewards; my satisfaction comes from the joy of seeing my clients achieve success. This clarity of purpose enables me to focus on what is important to me and guides my decisions about whom I want to work with.
Here’s a short video about my story and how I found my purpose; filmed in one of my favourite places in Mallorca by Oliver Neilson (https://www.phoenixmediamallorca.com)
I am a professionally qualified coach, approved by the International Coaching Foundation (ICF) as an Associate Certifed Coach (ACC). I trained with the internationally renowned Performance Consultants International in London completing the Coaching for Performance Level I and II accreditations.
I also have professional qualifications in business administration, digital marketing, negotiation and IT project delivery.
My additional qualifications include:
My international career spans 30+ years and encompasses a range of B2B and B2C service companies in the travel, hospitality, entertainment, events, retail, and superyacht sectors.
I have led start-ups, directed businesses through exponential international growth (from £70M to £4B revenues), and supported companies through recession and recovery.
I have helped SME business owners start, scale, internationalise and float their companies. I have managed significant organisational change and delivered technology transformation programmes.
I am a strong advocate for building a better, sustainable society and environment. I dedicate 10% of my professional time to providing pro-bono mentoring for clients who need a helping hand to get them started in their careers.
An avid cyclist, I serve on the committee, and in the saddle, of the 6Points Challenge charity in Mallorca which raises important funds in support of local health, poverty and environmental needs.
Throughout my career, I have staged major international events that have raised over one million pounds for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) in London, The Blue Marine Foundation and other worthy causes.
